2019 Piron Beaujolais Blanc
Dominique Piron is well known in Beaujolais, with and established heritage dating back to 1590 with his earliest known ancestors in Morgon. Since then fourteen generations of winemakers have presided over the Domaine, where they make 6 cru beaujolais wines, Beaujolais Villages, and this crisp, delicious Beaujolais Blanc. Ripe with loads of orchard fruit like golden apple and pear skin as well as linear citric elements like lemon zest on the palate, while the nose emits scents of crushed white flowers, cardamom and apricot. With a high mineral content and an absence of oak, this beauty is delicate and well-refined for its price point.
